Looking at and experiencing the world from multiple dimensions is not the same as looking at and experiencing the world from the viewpoint of materialism.
Many forces of Nature are “visible to the eye”, yet there are countless forces “behind” those. Such forces shape our environments, so Nature can be said to be the Visible Face of Spirit. It is most natural and beneficial for human beings to work with, and alongside, ordinarily invisible “spirits”.
Within a central theme of Animism, we engage in multi-dimensional seeing to perceive and work with spirits and beings ordinarily invisible to humans. A variety of activities are shown and practiced to “see without the visual sense”.

Humans beings so disconnected from Nature will not see Nature Spirits or Elemental Beings. But, as humans, we have responsibility to caretake the physical landscapes in the world as we see it and we cannot effectively do this alone.
Moving towards fuller connections, we work with a model of awakening, empowering and nourishing, in an understanding of symbiotic relationships between ourselves and Nature.
Practicing in multi-dimensional ways, we can take steps respectfully towards Nature. With our personal pledge and commitment, Nature will step gracefully towards us. The future can look brighter and we can become compassionate caretakers of immediate environments, as well as worthy ancestors for the next generations and beyond.

Approaching and working with Nature Spirits in compassionate ways can mean we have to challenge some modern outlooks, for example the suggestion that nature is merely a resource for human consumption.
While we have developed much knowledge about the world in our time, we tend to have thrown away much wisdom from past times. It is also a trait of modernity to take as many “resources” from the Earth as possible, now, with little consideration for future generations.
In this work, we consider positive aspects from past and present and work for the benefit of future beings, both human and non-human.
This course covers a range of methods and techniques useful for effective healing practices, promoting harmony and balance as a person navigates across the landscape of life. We engage in strong, powerful activities to encourage transformational inner work and strong, beneficial connections with environments, Nature Spirits and Elemental Beings. You will be able to use these tools with clients, family, friends, places, animals, Nature and yourself.
We work with energy, or power. By creating safe “containers”, our work can be done with confidence and stability. For the practitioner, this can become surprisingly easy to achieve and allows us to become “architects” of very effective energy work designed to benefit ourselves, others, and Nature.
Our physical senses are well tuned to navigate around the physical world, but when we choose to work with benevolent, compassionate spirit energies, there is a need to “see” in wider, multi-dimensional, ways. There are excellent activities, exercises and practices to bring out and develop skills of attuning to unseen aspects that are generally unavailable to the physical world senses.
A proper approach to intentionally interact with spirits, elemental beings, etc., is not something to fear. We need to learn, understand and respect how unseen forces of all kinds affect us, other beings, Nature and environments. The practitioner is responsible for safely managing situations that might be seen as “out of the ordinary” and to ensure their work results in only beneficial outcomes.
Being in partnership with “spirit”, a practitioner regulates use of their own personal power while asking for power from divine, infinite sources. We call on compassionate, loving, healing, guiding sources by forming personal relationships with our own spirit guides (or allies). Often, these allies engage in specific jobs, such as protection, soul retrieval, and so on.
We look for balance, where positive (or beneficial) energies are more active than negative (or non-beneficial) energies. Negative energy interferes with expression of the True Self – the archetypical pattern of our essence. A person or place greatly benefits from having more “blessings” than “curses” upon them. We learn how to locate and safely remove negative energy intrusions and ensure they are replaced by positive, beneficial, energy.
Shamans understand that highly charged and challenging events, such as traumatic experiences, result in fragmentation of the soul. This can be in relation to humans, non-humans and nature. A part, or parts, of a beingĀ“s soul splits off…. this is know as “soul loss”. We learn and practice tried, tested and effective methods to locate and return soul parts to bring beings and places closer to their wholeness.
We view ritual as a sacred action, with intention, to create a bridge between mundane (e.g. physical) and divine (e.g. spiritual) realms, thus bringing or amplifying divine power to the intention. Our working model of a ceremony includes honouring, expressing gratitude, celebrating and acknowledging compassionate forces. You will learn how to design and implement rituals and ceremonies in partnership with “Spirit” as we ask for compassion, blessings, healing, etc.
Elemental beings generally live in realms within, or at the borders of elements of air, earth, water or fire and provide and maintain expressions of the Earth Goddess, Gaia. As human beings, we can support the work of the elemental beings and, thereby, support Gaia. We learn and practice powerful ways of interacting with elemental beings, finding out how we can best support them, and carrying out work that benefits Nature and future generations.
The threshold between the seen (physical) and unseen (spiritual) realms can be seen as a kind of “veil”. In places of high spiritual concentration, it can be said “the veil is thin”. Upon spirit roads and in so called “power places”, there can be effects as spirit energies flicker back and forth across the veil. This can be disruptive for some people if they live or are near to such places, but they can also be places of significant insight, vision or healing for the trained practitioner.
In shamanism, it is understood that the soul is eternal and seperates from the physical body when a person dies. Sometimes, for various reasons, a soul that has departed the body can become stuck, or lost – that is, not able to find its way “home”. Trained practitioners can choose to intentionally meet lost souls and be of service by offering guidance, so they can move to their onward destination.
